NOTE: This role is hybrid and requires 3 days a week onsite in our Walnut Creek, CA Corporate office.

JOB SUMMARY

The Strategic Partnerships Specialist will be instrumental in expanding the Club's Discounts & Rewards program by revamping partner evaluation, engagement, and onboarding. This high-impact role involves leading the development and management of partnerships across diverse member categories including automotive, retail, dining, entertainment, and home services. As part of a dynamic and visible Strategic Initiatives team, reporting to the Senior Director, you will be crucial in establishing the Discounts & Rewards Partnerships function.

RESPONSIBILITIES / JOB DUTIES

  • Identify and prioritize strategic partnership opportunities that align with MWG’s member engagement goals
  • Develop and execute the roadmap for partner acquisition across various categories, aligning with program growth targets
  • Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and member insights analysis to inform targeting strategies
  • Lead the partnership lifecycle, from sourcing and evaluation to negotiation and activation of new partners
  • Develop compelling, mutually beneficial proposals and deal structures
  • Manage the lifecycle of existing partnerships to maximize performance and long-term value
  • Support the design and implementation of multi-channel go-to-market campaigns
  • Analyze program and partner performance, sharing recommendations and insights with stakeholders
  • Serve as critical cross-functional partner with the marketing, product, and analytics teams to successfully launch partner offerings
  • Lead the development of scalable tools, processes, and frameworks for partner onboarding and management
  • Contribute to business case development and executive reporting, providing key insights to senior leadership

EDUCATION, COMPETENCIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

  • Minimum Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field with 5 years of experience in partnerships, business development, or strategic alliances within consumer-facing industries.
    • OR High School diploma with 9 years of experience in partnerships, business development, or strategic alliances within consumer-facing industries.
  • Preferred Requirements:
    • MBA

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

hybrid - minimum 3 days in office (Tuesday - Thursday)

We target between minimum and midpoint of the range, and all offers are subject to a fair pay analysis - Compensation Range: Min: $107,687.00 - Mid: $134,608.00- Max: $161,528.00
